A Conversation with Special Educators
– Have you ever wondered how your child’s
special educator structures her day? Are you looking for teaching strategies
to use at home with you child to complete homework assignments? Do you need
ways to more effectively and efficiently communicate with your child’s team?
If so, please join us on Monday, Dec. 4th at 9:30 AM in Room 131
East of the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School for a conversation
with three special educators from the Acton-Boxborough school system. Shawna
Wilkinson (from R.J. Grey Junior High), Jane Tibbetts (from Conant), and
Renee Hill (from Merriam) will answer these questions as well as touch on
the developmental stages of children versus what is being required of your
child. Finally, they will talk about motivating your child to do his/her
best and how to monitor his/her progress. This presentation is sponsored by
the Children with Challenges Parent Support Group. For further information
